$8,000 Tax Credit for First Time Homebuyers



Opportunity is knocking; the money is there, will you open the door to your new home?


What are you waiting for; why not take advantage of this great benefit? The new $8,000 Tax Credit for first time homebuyers is ONLY available on purchases from January 1 to November 30, 2009. Come on buyers, this is a great opportunity to get extra money for furniture, updates and just about anything. This great opportunity if available for First time home buyers and anyone who has not owned a home within the last 3 years.

Okay, so you say what is the catch? There is no catch- President Barack Obama has made this happen to help our economy. Are you doing your part? Here is a brief snapshot regarding this Tax Credit:



  • The tax credit is for first-time home buyers only. First time is also someone who has not owned a principal residence during the three-year prior to the purchase of a new home.


  • The tax credit is equal to 10% of the home’s purchase price up to a maximum of $8,000.

  • The credit is available for homes purchased on or after January 1, 2009 and by November 30, 2009.


  • Single taxpayers with incomes up to $75,000 and married couples with incomes up to $150,000 qualify for the full tax credit. WOW!
